1940: The New York Marine Company formed. It manufactures equipment for lifting boats, floating docks and piers and recovery equipment under water.

1950: The first BOB-CAT 2 Stage Snow plows were built. This was the only product power for 20 years.

1958: Navy proposes Pewaukee Wisconsin WI Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

1972: The drawings, machinery and equipment of the Wisconsin Marine were bought and a new company was incorporated under the Wisconsin Marine.

1974: Wisconsin Navy is a major blow when a fire destroyed much of the plant.

1975: Wisconsin Marine rebuilds and runs 12 “trimmer, 21″ push mower, 32 “, 36″ and 48 “medium-sized walk behind mowers, and a wide range of riding mowers.

1978: the extreme growth of the company asked for more manufacturing and warehouse space. Three sites were leased to Lake Mills, WI Helenville and Madison. Employment grew to 90 people. Ransomes Sims and Jefferies has bought a minority stake in the company and received distribution rights for Europe.

1979: Wisconsin Marine has purchased 40 acres of land in neighboring Johnson Creek WI, and built 90,000 square foot production facility. All four structures are transferred under the same roof Johnson Creek.

1981: Ransomes Sims and Jefferies buy the remaining shares of the Wisconsin Marine and form a new company called Ransomes America. Johnson Creek WI facility called Ransomes Inc.

1982: A warehouse of 23,000 square meters has been added to Johnson Creek, WI.

1985: An expansion of 48,000 square meters of production has been added to Johnson Creek Wi

1988: Ransomes America bought Steiner Turf in Dalton Ohio

1989: bought a Cushman Ransomes America Inc., which included Ryan Turf Products Restoration and Brouwer Turf Keswick Ontario Canada.

1992: Brouwer factory in Keswick, Ontario, was closed and all manufacturing was moved to Dalton, Ohio plant.

1997: Continued growth and new products need more space and manufacturing 38,400 meters square took place.

1998: Ransomes plc, a global group acquired Textron Inc. and formed a division called Textron Golf, Turf & Specialty Products. End of 1998 the family moved to Louisville KY facility Bunton WI Johnson Creek.

1999: In August 1999, 19 more than 720 square feet including a new high-end powder, and flush the system has been completed.

2002: Steiner and Brouwer plant in Dalton Georgia is closed and the products are moved to Johnson Creek, WI.

2006: August 19, 2006 Textron sold the site of Johnson Creek with five brands, including BOB-CAT, Bunton, de Brouwer, Ryan and Steiner EHE management.
